For too long, working and middle class families haven’t been getting a fair deal. Over the last few decades, wages have stagnated, basic living expenses have increased, and our families are getting squeezed. It’s time to change this.
I grew up in a working class neighborhood in Gaithersburg, where people looked out for their neighbors. That’s what our campaign is going to be about. It’s going to be about looking out for people – and that means everybody. Politicians are too busy looking out for themselves. It’s time someone starts looking out for you and your family.
I’m getting into this race to help make sure that no matter where you come from or what you look like, that if you work hard and play by the rules, you can get a fair shot at the American Dream.
I hope you’ll join our campaign for progress.
